Is it possible to get the old rear center trim off without breaking it? I need to repaint and I don't feel like buying any.

You are talking about plastic bumper trim right?

Remove the bumper from the car. Then remove the bumper cover from the fiberglass support. To do this you need an ice pick punch or small screwdriver to pop out the plastic rivets. Then, from the inside of the bumper cover, you can use the same tool to pry the trim locking tabs from the bumper. If you are careful, it won't break.

I got mine from a salvage yard and saved mucho $$. I used SEM trim black and it looks great.
