e30 m3 bumper on my 89 325i. what to do to fit it?

I am wondering what I have to do to get and e30 m3 front bumper on my 89 325i? I have seen one and it doesnt look like it bolts up the same way. I think the m3 has a special piece that bolts to the body and then the skin bolts on that. thanks in advance. :)

Bolting it on is the easy part , the real party starts when you try to keep the sides from noticeably sticking out wider than the fenders .

Ok so I just remove my old bumper and do I have to take off the metal fascia as well? Then what parts do I need to install the m3 one? Have you seen this done? Does it look bad as far as sticking out?

Why not just put a M badge on the front grill and call even? Much easier than trying to fit a lot wider front bumper on a non M car...

Personally I would NOT do either though... but thats my

I am not trying to make my car an m, so It would be stupid to throw m badges on it. This bumper just happend to come my way and it looks nicer than the one I have so I wanted to put it on...

Jesus some of you guys are elitist pricks. Its not like he's trying to pass the car off as something its not, besides, the stock m3 bumper looks a whole lot better than pretty much all aftermarket options, so what motivation do you morons have for giving him shit like this? Why is the notion of an m3 bumper so offensive? If you cant help the guy out, why do you need to flame him?
Just a little project im working on
