how about as soon as it breaks, cuz youll never know when your car will be totaled.i just got all new stuff and then the car gets crushed, i guess dont buy stuff untill it breaks.if i get enough money who knows what ill do.

if its totaled im rebuilding it perfect. as long as i can get $3000 i can redo everything w/ carbon fiber hood and paint, ill do an electric fan conversion while im at it. whatever weight i dont need wont be added. and i'll have myself a little red rocket.

i can get it running for $900 from bavauto, but it wont have a hood or headlights or kidney.

^ well my current car is the "ungodly kitted" car.
My first car was an 88 seta and i went under a truck. I got the rad support for $6, the hood was $12, the fender was $8, the valence was $16 and a bunch of misc stuff.
Dont get me wrong you still have to paint it and shit but it helped that i had a body shop at my disposal at the time so i did all the work myself.

Well yes. it cost me $60 for everything including a rad support thanks to the local pick ur part. If your car is clean title, dont even claim it. just fix it your self and dont waste time with the hassles of the insurance company.

Yeah, that's the bummer. The fact that his car will end up a total loss. I see al least 2400.00 in estimate for repairs. Hope he can buy it back for 10-15%.
