    Heavy trunk lid

Now with the wing, and the under lid panel, I have a pretty heavy trunk lid. Anyway to keep it from slamming other than lowering it by hand really slow?!

I've thought about doing this, if I ever find one with the parts intact at a junk yard, I might try rigging it up. I don't have a problem with my trunk slamming, but it seems like it would be cool to have anyways.

Try moving the bars back a notch. Its free, and might make enough difference.

I moved the spring on both sides to the back tab. It helped a ton - but it is probably not quite enough. I will get a new rod at some point. For now - it is good.

not as cool as you might think, they make your trunklid sit uneven
