    Small dents in my paintwork..........

What's the best way of tackling the little 'pings' on the bodywork of my touring? I'm thinking a bodyshop is the only way to get a decent job, but I'm on a small budget so it's maybe not an option.

Don't know about over there, but here in the states you can get paintless dent repair for fairly cheap.

Sounds like just what I'm after! As a reference, I'm guessing they charge per dent, but what's an approx figure they charge over there?

depends on the size of the dent, but I was quoted around $25 each for a bunch of quarter sized dents (hail damage) on my old 318i 2 years ago.

The guy at the shop I work at charges $75 per panel and $45 for every additional panel.
But they never are "perfect". Just less noticable.
          But hey no paintwork.

I've seen them charge by the hour mostly over here. But the best guys to amazing work, we used them on a limo fleet for a place I used to work at. And if it's good enough for a $200K limo....

Ruban and Johns bodyshop in Highwood. I have a connection there if you need some work done. They did my wifes old Infinity there, fixed like 89 dings and resprayed the whole car for like $2400 iirc. Overall decent for the price though there where a couple runs that needed to be sanded out. We rushed them though because we had the work done while on vacation from school, car wasn't even done curing when we had to pick it up, lol.

Then they aren't doing it right.
You can get rid of 90% of dents completely with PDR. Sounds like the guy you used either isn't that good/experienced or you had one of the few dingers that simply won't cooperate. We use these guys all the time and hardly ever have a problem unless there is no access at all to the dent.
