Stripping paint from stock eS/iS trunk spoiler

Can the paint from these be successfully stripped, leaving the rubber finish unharmed? Tips? I prefer the raw flat rubber look, but almost all of these I see FS have paint that requires refinishing.
I like the painted ones on red, white & black cars, but I'm not sure about Arktisblau!

I've never used a stripper that wouldn't destroy plastic. I think your best bet is to sand it down and repaint it with SEM Trim Black.

No need to strip it. Fill any cracks in the paint - and do s said above.

Paint strippers seem like a good plan, but will always damage the spoiler. It's strong enough to eat through the layers of paint, of course it's going to attack the rubber.

I just refurbished my own... sand it down to the old primer, spray on some new primer, and then paint it with flexible trim paint.
