repairing lip spoiler rubber?

    repairing lip spoiler rubber?

    What's the consistency of this stuff? I assume it is foamy on the inside?
    If the outside is messed up how can you fix it or fill it in a little?
    Any ideas?

    I sanded it, filled in the cracks with some filler (maybe bondo, don't remember), painted with some wrinkle finish paint. Came out great.
    Ignore the one dark spot, I accidentally hit it w/ an armorall covered paper towel.

      wrinkle finish paint? that's a new idea.
      looks fine, how bad was it to start with?

      The mtech 1 rubber is a little softer I think

        Looked like ass. More cracked than a crackhead.

        Oh!! I forgot, I finished it over with a coat of regular black. Sorry, I did this years ago, I forgot that step. 8)
