Interest in fiberglass sunroof blanks

Is there any interest in a fiberglass sunroof blank...... it will be 3 layers of woven fiberglass. Ill be making one for myself thats why i ask.

Well obviously is fitment and weight and quality is all in 95% perfection at least.

What will the finish look like? Will you still have the mounting tabs as a regular e30 sunroof panel has? Will it still mount the sunroof panel?

yeah so it will just be a blank... the sun roof wont be usable.... i can make them with the sides that go straight up so that i could bolt in too... Im making mine for my track car... so i dont mind it being usable

im gonna try to build the mold soon.... hopefully gonna be started by mid nov

In the process of building a mold ... pics should be up soon.... the plan is for a sunroof blank that has a lip so people can mount.... for the people that want i can make a test one that bolts to the oem brackets....

they don't function tho, still only a blank. it be cool to find one that functions but wouldnt weight reduction only be minimal then? kinda kills the point... when im home im gonna weight my sunroof panel, its out anyway.
