    M Tech II fitting issues

I'm in the process of putting on an M Tech II kit on my 90 325is coupe. I have a line on the front and rear bumpers/valances. The ones that I am looking at are off a 90 318 sedan. I need to know if they will fit my coupe without any modifications. If so I will buy them, as they are a great deal. Looking for anyones .
    Cheers
    Mike

The front and rear bumpers and valences should fit exactly same as on the sedan. Except the sideskirts for 4 door cars are different. IIRC the sedan sideskirts are 6 pieces and coupes only have 4 pieces.

Is there any difference between the euro and us models. I am thinking that it should be the same, but I can't be 100% positive.

shouldn't be any difference. Since basically our e30s are US spec versions of the euro e30.

          Actually, no, they won't fit.

I would like the phone number of the bastard who is trying to pull a fast one on you, so I can give him hell for trying to rip you off.

            ^^ LOL

Only difference on the US version of the M Tech bumpers are the cutouts on the sides for the reflectors.

Isn't the exhaust cut out different between the 325 and 318 on them?

Just looking at a photo of the rear and front bumpers and you are correct, there are no cutouts for the side marker lights. The exhaust cutout is in the same place as the us 325is.

I kind of like the cleaner look of no marker lights. I suppose I can always cut holes for the marker lights if I wanted to. As long as the wheel arches match up and they mount the same, they should fit.

Buddy is asking $400 for both front and rear bumpers, front valance, and trunk spoiler. No damage or cracks, the are pretty sound. Sounds like a good deal to me.

The only difference between 318 and 325 mufflers is 4 cylinder cars got a single tip and 6 cylinder cars got twin tips.
