?? for people who have or have installed m tech II

ok so i have an OEM m tech II kit (sides only) and I'm a little unsure if the rear quarter panel panels should have the same type of slide / lock feature as the front panels do when going into the bottom side skirt.

I'm hoping that the rear uses clips to locate the upper panel, but it also looks as though something could be broken off of my panels.

i can provide pics if needed.
