    bumper question, only better

do M3 style fenders require M3 bumpers too? or can you run regular late model bumpers/valance?

Big fender flares, M3 bumpers...I think.

EDIT: This has been covered before but I don't remember the thread title or what it was about.

You don't necessarily NEED M3 bumpers, but they will fit a whole lot better than almost anything else.

I'm not a fan of non-M3 boxed widebody.. the rear looks goofy with the boxy fenders and normal trunkline. Have you considered something like Alex Schipkov's flares? They're really nice...

I'm curious as to why you'd put the effort forth to put widebody fenders on your car and not spend the extra/time money to properly finish off the look? Plus, as stated above, it doesn't look quite right with out the trunk.

uh, well, i may buy a car that already has the M3 fenders but no bumpers... M3 bumpers are like $350 each and i can get a complete late model set for like $300... plus i dont like the front valence of th M3. i like the look without the trunklid

^^^ thanks, yeah the late model bumpers look like theyll fit, but the fenders might hang over em a little bit...
