    Smoking Rear Tailights?

Anyone got some easy steps for me to follow? I'm just not sure how to go about this one. I've smoked my sidemarkers, but that was much simpler.

Looking through other threads about smoking tails, it seems everyone who has tried DIYing it suggests buying MHW. FI:

I smoked mines before with just random sprays of black paint using a fat cap from a far distance... turned out okay, but I don't recommend cuz it really looks like you just spray painted it... check out the DIY section for better advice...

Can you include a step-by-step write up of that?

Be sure to include the crash, the appraisal, and the money awarded from your insurance company due to your stupidity.

Smoked tails are super tacky, but if you're going to do it then do it right.

okay, what i do is mix black paint with clear coat, and spray, mines held up for about a year, I wax them and polish them every once and a while.
cars dirty in the pic, it only cost about $10 worth of materials and they are holding up great

            it was raining

                  Funny how that works, because

Please, someone tell me I'm not the only one getting migraines from reading the stupid shit some of these noobs post. It makes me want to find the nearest fire hydrant, put my face over it, grab the back of my head and pull as hard as I can.

I tried to stay as close to the MHW look as possible so i masked off the reverse lights. Im hoping they will really pop once i pull the tape off. More pics to come once i get them from the body shop and installed on my car.
