    Painting the front end

My car is red: the hood is a little faded, along with the front bumper.

I have a new IS lip to install, but if I get it painted, it will end up very bright and fresh with the new paint, which will look weird with a faded hood and more faded bumper.

If I have a body shop re-paint the hood and the bumper (when they paint the IS lip), do you think they can make it all match the fenders (which aren't faded) ?

I want the front end to look complete, instead of having it look like patchwork with different shades of red on each panel.

    doubtful

Red is hard to match due to sun fading. They will likely have to do some blending on the fenders and maybe the front doors to make it less noticable...

If they have to go to that extent, will it be expensive? Sounds pricey.

You should be fine, When you get it sprayed, Have them do the hood, bumper, lip, valance and brake ducts all at once.
This will let everything blend in better.
If the body shop that your taking your car to isnt able to paint that stuff and have it match damn well close then what you have now. I would look for a new body shop.
