    Convertible third brake light delete

Its spring, and I'm pretty determined to get rid of my third breaklight. The question is ... is it easier to fill the holes and respray? if so with what?

Or is it cheaper to get a off color decklid and have a shop respray the wohle thing. I would imagine the inside would be difficult to respray even for a shop.

I had it shaved and repainted.

What ever you do... DO NOT cut the third brake light short, save as much as possible and keep it wired so it still works. Otherwise you will have a brake light out light on...

Levent is right on...or you could wire it up to get rid of the light out on the check cluster.

If you don't have plans for the light once you take it off, let me know. I'd be interested in taking it off your hands.

Not sure to be honest, did a bunch of work at the same time so it was all mixed in. My guess would be a couple hundred bucs...
