    Rear bumper options

I need some more options for my rear bumper.

I've been battling an older BMP rear for a while now and determined it fits like sh*t and that it's going to take a lot of rework to make it fit right.

Has anyone had any luck with a newer BMP bumper (the type with the mounts built into it)?

Any other options that won't require a ton of work? I'm swapping to a plastic bumper with Rieger lip in front if that helps.

    Thanks

why not swap a regular plastic on the rear? Josh's write up is very informational on all that needs to be done to modify one to fit an early model.

i think if you do the bmp rear, you should do the front as well... might look weird with the stock front

I've been torn on which rear end to use on my early E30. Whatever I use it needs to fit well, and needs to match the rieger lip/plastic bumper on the front.

I think if I fill the grooves in the bottom of the rear M-tech1 and paint the chrome white, it could possibly work really well. What do you guys think?

here are some borrowed pics as props...
