    Fumes

A few months ago some menopausal lady made an illegal lane change and destroyed my drivers fender, something I never posted on here cuz I was too depressed. :drink:

I got a used bumper from a junkyard and put it on but never got around to painting it because of the shitty weather here in the land of Zion. Fender had a small dent.

Finally got fed up with looking at a white fender that doesn't match my black car, sun was out and 60 F outside, so I talked to a friend who fixed the dent for me(I hate body work) and decided to paint it.

Here's some pics for your amusement.

Good, just got it back from being media blasted today. Going to put a coat of self etching primer on it tomorrow to seal the bare metal, then work on getting the few very minute low spots smoothed out.

Yah, Andrew did an amazing job getting it hammered back out. There's just a few tiny little dimples here and there that need to be smoothed out, but they should be easy.

I painted mine no more than 2 hours ago but used this superfast clear coat. The clear was dry in 25min @ 55 degrees. It's amazing.

All I gotta do tomorrow is put it on the car and wetsand.

                    That looks amazing!

I dropped mine off at the body shop yesterday, they're going to take over smoothing it the rest of the way out and shoot it for me for $200.

I used Spies Hecker brand paint. I really like how vibrant their OEM colors are. I get all my paint at the paint store I used to work at, I'm in good terms with my ex-boss so I get it at 10% over wholesale price. :D:D:D
