    Rear Apron Options

I think I will be getting IS side skirts soon as was wondering what rear apron would look good with the is lip and skirts? What have people done in the past? I think leaving it normal would look too weird? Post pics if you got em. Thanks

I say paint over the black on the bottom of the apron and see how you like it. It's on the car already, fits fine, and this way will cost a lot less. I'm just not a fan of aftermarket bodywork, but I think you can achieve a balanced look with paint.

I kind of like the zender rear apron, but I'm unsure if it's made for the plastic bumpers.

There is a Zender rear apron for late-model E30's.

Eurospeed, but those are not IS skirts.

The IS skirts look fine with the stock rear valence, but I would also recommend painting the bottom black strip body colour....especially since your IS lip and your skirts are body colour.

I have a pal out here that has the IS skirts, IS lip, and still has the stock rear and it looks great :) Sorry, no pics though.

i would recomend painting the black part body color, but sand off the bumpy finish first and make it smooth. I would do this, but i dont even have a black part :?

Yeah, I know, I was just giving him pics of the Zender rear apron. It looks to me like it would look GREAT with iS sideskirts, they are very similar.

where are you getting the is sideskirts from?

thats the AV3 rear. I actually think that it looks pretty nice, but i dont know how well it would flow with the IS lip and sides.

btw, the Hartge rear valence would look good, especially since the Hartge sideskirts almost look identical to the IS sideskirts..............question is where to get the Hartge rear? Perhaps, ebay.de or try your luck for a replica one on ebay.com.

Only problem with the AV3 rear is you're going to spend more money having it modified to fit right than you paid for the apron/skirts combined.

that a3v looks real good, and i think i'm gonna get the is skirts from the dealer. i should be able to get a good deal on them because i'm having the parts department at my company get them for me and they can usually get a good deal from other dealerships.
