    Door Panel Removal

Silly question, but I like to be better safe than sorry.

Anyway, I'm trying to get the inner door panel off my driver's side door. I can break all the tabs loose, but as for the rest I'm stumped.

After I break the tabs loose, then what do I do? It doesn't seem to want to budge.
Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
Mark: "Didn't you just break a rocker arm?"
Me: "Yeah, I don't think I've learned my lesson."
    Mark: "You never will."

There are two screws under the arm rest and one behind the power mirror switch (all 3 are #2 phillips). Just take a small flat blade screw driver and gently get behind the mirror switch and pry outward to expose that one. Once those 3 screws are gone the complete door pull will slide forward about a 1/2" and come free from the map pocket and door panel. Then gently lift upward and outward on the door panel if you have it unclipped from around the entire outside edges (frontside, backside and bottom side)

There are two #1's side by side plus #4 behind the mirror switch although this represents the passenger door panel it does come off the same way...

      Thanks!

I guess installation is the reverse of removal?

        your guess would be correct.

ALSO ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION!! Make sure to unscrew the door lock knob before taking the door panel off!!!

some tips here, but this should really be in interior thread.

          - undo the three screw first (2 under the armrest, and one on the handle top)
          - remove the handle by sliding forward.
          - pop off all the plastic holding piece
          - push up to remove, it will still be wedge relatively tight.
          - do not yank the board hard, without support on teh cardboard, it breaks easily and when you rip the cardboard is kind of fubared.

          Installation

          - you need to wedge the top really good when installing, and slide from teh rear forward a bit will ease installation.

Don't forget the little door handle frame! You need to slide the rectangular frame towards the front, while holding the inner door handle in the "open" position.
