    Front quarter panel question

    Hi everyone!

    First post on R3VLimited from many to come hopefully. I'm just wondering if any of you guys happen to know whats the part number for the missing side marker in the attached photo.

    If your car was a grey market import it may not be a BMW part. Normally there would not be a marker there, and if a car had one at all it would be aft of the front wheels.

      Any info you can provide on where would you find this gen of fender?

        Trying to tell you that this is not likely to be an original BMW marker location, and is instead a probable modification to allow for grey market importation which was okay for a few years in the 1980s. As part of that import process shops had to do things to bring the car in to some form of compliance, and weird spots for markers was one of them.

        Normal US fender: 41351968489
        Lateral turn signal fender (ROW): 41351979481

        There is a light that looks similar on BMW 2002s, although that had mounting holes that were not equidistant from the center hole. My guess is that this is a random aftermarket light.

          Ahhh I see what you're saying! Sorry still learning how to e30. I'm definitely going to start looking into original front quarter panels
