    Rust repair

Hello, hope im posting this in the right place

i am looking into buying this E30 316i touring 1994 but like all of them they have some problems, the car that im looking at is driven 200.xxx km and has some rust issues (look at pictures) and i am just wondering if i had to do a ton of work to fix this.
I am 15 and this would be my first car and i would really appreciate if someone could help me out and tell me what to look for when buying one and all that :)

Those are pretty common rust problems, easy to repair yourself or get it repaired at a shop. However, the rust at the cowl area will be quite a big job (as it's also the most visible repair), you'll definitely have to remove the windshield and maybe even the dash.

How much rust is elsewhere on the car? I can't imagine that's the only rust though..

these are the only pictures he sent when i asked him about rust
https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-...5576-216-13590 here is the listing and the car looks to be in pretty good shape from the pictures but the price seems pretty off if these are the only problems don“t you think
ill have to ask him for some more pictures because i live in Iceland and he is in germany and i cant really go and look at the car
do you have any tips on what i should ask the seller and such?

If the rust you know about is anything to gauge the condition of the car by, I'd imagine that there is more, likely in the rockers, liftgate, inner door seams, and at the right rear wheel well.

I'd skip this one. Remember, buy the best car you can afford, as that generally saves you in the long term.
