Non pop-out windows = hatred.... Question

So I put new glass in my brothers non pop-out rear windows today in the gale force winds of Texas. The stumper of the day is the reinstallation of the trim, which acts like a locking strip. I cannot for the life of me get it pushed back in, especially on the bottom chrome strip.

    What are the tricks?

It's too bad the little tips and secrets about non popouts and sedans are not included in Jordo's wrietup. One would figure someone as anal as him would have included every variable...

Hmmm.. After reading that I figure maybe I should reinstall the trim with the window and gaskets out of the car, then reinstall the assembled window/gasket/trim back into the body. I'll try that.
