    Question about Thule Load Feet

    I know the 300 Thule Foot Pack will fit my E30, but I really hate the round locking knob on them. I had a Thule system on my mk2 GTI and the feet on that rack didn't have the nasty knobs on them.


    Does anyone know if the Thule feet for our cars ever came without the locking knobs? Maybe back in the day?

      Mine came from "Back in the day" and I'm sorry to say they have those anti aerodynamic knobs.

          you could used the 400xt foot pack, but it'll just cost you more, personally i like the gutter mount system more cause it's actually solid compared to the clips. Or you can go with yakima Qtowers which is another clip system without the knobs
