    Plastic Bumper Question

    SO I am doing the rear on an 89 Cabbie, so I guess you don't use the later model brackets and just let the screw near the fender well hold the sides on, or did you drill and mount the bracket then attach the side of the bumper to it...

    All the links show early (pre-88) rears, mine is an 89 but it still looks like I am going to have to fab something to fill the gap near the bottom of the side in the wheel well...

    any help would be appreciated here

    i just did the conversion form aluminum to plastic and i just used the screw on the side to hold them in place....its plenty sturdy

      i would just part it scap it and get a coupe.

        Have you lost your freakin' mind? Nobody in his right mind would give up a vert for a coupe. It ain't natural.
