So I got my B3 duckbill in a while ago. I spent 6 hours today trying to get it to fit properly and have deemed it not possible.

If E30trash is reading this, I'd love to know how the hell you did that. Even if you chopped a section out of the middle, since the length sticks out a good 2in on each side, the end curves are just way off.

    Maybe I'll try again later...

However, it looks like the site, theb3e.com, is no longer in existance. I had it bookmarked and now I get this:

At Black Forest Industries we manufacture performance parts for your VW / Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Porsche, and Mini but we also provide maintenance repair parts as well. Keep your ride on the road, make it faster, or make it look better than it did on the showroom floor!

That's not the same spoiler. The B3 one is more of a wedge that directs the air upwards. The MK3 one is flat faced.

I've heard one of the VW 'duck bill' style lips works. Anyone know?

With all due respect, please explain how the Volvo lip does not fit.

It fits a volvo just fine... If you can't see that it doesn't follow the lines of the vehicle and looks like someone took a piece from the scrap yard and bolted it on upside down then it's not worth explaining. The IS lip is cheap, just buy one.

OEM IS lips cost about the same for replica shitty ones that are made for other makes and models. So yeah, they are cheap and worth it and durable.
