Old tech from the late 70's early 80's CSL... Was meant to stop separation turbulence and induced drag at the rear deck.

The price was bigger than the payoff

Sure it's more round; obviously it will have to be fabbed to fit the shape of the e30!!!

won't work for your car, either.. vortex generators have to be carefully matched/spaced to your car, the angle the rear window comes down, the direction air is flowing over your roof (not as intuitive as you'd expect), etc.
