    RS1 & Mtech2 MUST READ

Just to get it out there for all the upcomming members...

BMP RS1 requires lots of work to get it to look right.
Mtech 2 bumpers wont fit on your '87 or earlier car without major modification

Neither will stock E30 plastic bumpers.
And I don't just mean they won't bolt on right. Large sections of the rear bumper have to be cut and and new ends fabricated to make them fit.
If you want nicer looking bumpers, tuck them. If you don't want to tuck them, get a 88-91 E30. I have a tech article on how do it, it will soon be listed on this site. In the meantime, you can email me and I will send it to you.

I love the bmp rs1 kit though, it has always been my plan , I guess I'll just have to pay twice the price of the kit to have it installed how I want! :D

What about the euro bumpers? Are they direct fit or do they need work to make them look right?

Pretty much a direct fit on <87 cars. Just gotta drill 2 holes in back. Guess how I know. :P

It has little to do with the bumpers, its the rear fender arches which are designed different.
