    Tint guys?

I have a convertible hardtop with tint. Is there a safe way to remove the tint without damaging the defroster lines?
Renting my rear wheel bearing tool kit. SIR

Ammonia and black trash bags do the job.

There is also a product called "TINT OFF" that I have used with good success. Basically you pull off what you can of the old tint and spray the stuff on to break down the glue left behind. I used a nylon pot scrubber to help emulsify the glue. Once it's dissolved it can be wiped off.
