Thats part of it. I did drill 8 wholes in the wing itself to match with the 8 holes in the flap. I also notched the most outter edge (under the wing where it meets the mounts on the sides) and made a sort of carrier for the flap. Than before we mounted it and called it finished I used a product called Fusor. I used the380NS/383NS Adhesive before bolting flap to the wing.

Here is the techinal data sheet on the product that I used:

After that I cleaned the area up and bolted it down tight. Hope that helps.

The gourney flap is what Ary put on his DTM wings and we worked out selling me just a flap. Great product, I highly reccomend it.

I have a hartge wing. No flap, but I think it looks the best out of all of the aftermarket wings. And the Racing Dynamics one isn't too close to the m3 wing, it has a few support pieces while the m3 does not.
