I'm hoping this not a repost but for the people not wanting to poke holes in their OEM shocks for the early models, this maybe a good solution to the hideous warping of the bumper covers on the DBs.

Ha the car in the picture just has '88 bumper shocks .. I dont see what is so special? I've picked those up in the boneyard for $3 several times.

Run into the back of your truck's tow hitch-- that'll tuck your bumper nicely for free.

Hahahahaha, I agree on the backing into tow hitches or poking hole for less than $5 bucks.

I just thought that this might be a cleaner solution.

No wrinkles on the bumper covers and yes you're right it does still look like a buck tooth DB car.

What does wrinkles on the bumper covers have to do with tucking? The covers wrinkle even with the bumpers untucked.

I never personaly did it but my friend who did the tuck, ended up with the wrinkles afterwards. Maybe too much sun heat on an old piece of plastic?

Yep, that is going to happen regardless of the bumper tuck.. Thanks to the climate here we dont see much warpage. It happens a ton in areas that see extreme hot or cold cycles. I've seen bumper surrounds go crazy in Canada (used to sell a bunch of bumper surrounds to guys there)...
