    Need a windshield...recommendations?

    PPG(PGP) or Safelite?

    get a good used one, they are not glued in and are not too hard to install

      I don't think a used windshield is a good ideal maybe if the car has been sitting in a garage for 18 years.

      PPG is always good but get whatever is cheaper theose are both big names, I would be more concerned with the installer.

        I got so many crazy quotes for a new windshield, $400 bucks is a lot.

          Just get a new PPG windshield. They don't cost much and they are good quality.

            Thanks for the replies. It seems its gonna be about $150-$175 otd wherever I go. My main curiosity is in the difference between the safelite and ppg.
