Why I love early chassis cars

I have the front spoiler and the decklid, but I need the mud flaps. Wish I wasn't into VW's in the 80's or I would have already acquired the remander of the pieces to make a car like this.

Why would you want to add a late model rear valance?

Because it looks really goofy when you have a deep, low to the ground front airdam, and nothing in the back to set it off.

I love my early-body car, but I think a rear valance it a necessity. At least to cover up your exhaust hanging down, and that spare tire well. Just makes it look much cleaner.

You can't argue that this isn't dead sexy:

I like it but honestly it's plain to me. I have one late model and it's my least favorite car. I hate the fact that almost every late model suffers from Rust in the battery box area whilst the early cars do not.

On a side note, what can are you running now Josh? Straight pipes are interesting. E36 Can with altered tips?

            You certainly cannot.

I came into the E30 world much like everyone else, thinking plastic bumpered cars were the better breed, but now I hate the big tails and the rear arches, and diving boards have grown on me.
            paint sucks

It's still my same Magnaflow, I just had them point the tips straight out rather than have them come out an angle. Need to get some bigger ones, tho. I was afraid of them looking too big, so I went small, and they're too small. :D

What sets yours and Trent's off is the nice paint and the skimmed look. I just can't stand the low box look.

I will have an e36 M3 for that look next week. ;)

                  I like the narrow ass.

Thanks for reminding me to get my rear bumper installed.... again.

Nope, no argument here! Early tails wilth late bumper and valance IS the best setup. I just cant stand seeing the spare tire bump and the whole exhaust.

I think a late model valence looks much better, the spare and exhaust pipe need to ne covered

anyone else think the spare tire well you can see under the valence looks like a hemorrhoid?

                          Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

To me it just looks like the car has so much power that the valance got ripped right off.
