its the original plate filler than came out for late models. i have a pic of one in my owners manual for my e30.

I can't make up my mind. I like because it is different and period but if everbody had them my thoughts could easily go the other way. The black filler is so clean and you can never go wrong with clean. There is a black one with the same shape as the red one that looks the best imho.Comment

Not thrilled. Heh, some rare parts baffle me. No matter how rare it is, if it looks like a big blemish on my car, I can't justify it.
I did once have a dream of gathering all the rare parts I could, finding a relatively "rare" of some fashioned e30 and rocking all of it. All at once.Need a part? PM me.
