pic request: euro grills and us grills comparison

i've been jumping back and forth on different pages to try to see the difference. wtf is it? can someone point it out for me?

There's a chunk missing just above the headlights on US grills. The top 'bar.' Euro grills, no chunk is missing and the bar just goes straight across.

Some moron back in the 80s decided the extra centimeter of plastic made the cars dangerous, and the piece got lopped out.

Some was all the way open, another one had the top 1/8th or more blocked off (both came on US cars). And there was one for severe cold weather cars that was completely blocked off.
