painting centercaps?

Has anyone ever flat blacked their centercaps on the basketweaves?

just curious how it would turn out

Probably wouldn't look very good. It would be better just to run with them off, and paint the centers black, behind the caps.

Im considering painting the center caps and lips red to match the body paint until I buy new wheels

I dont think it would look if they were painted the same color as the wheel.
