    Passanger window stopped working?

Bringing an e30 back to life (car sat around for a year or two)

I used a lub on the runners but when I put down the passanger window it only got 2/3 of the way down then dropped to its current position, leaving about 1inch of glass out the top of the door. When I push the button nothing happeneds, no noise.

    The driveres side works fine.

If the motor has sezed up can it be fixxed?

How can you get the reg out? Does the glass have to come out first?

This side of the car is crome the drivers side is shadow line. Is this a good time to make it all showline?

Does anyone know a good how too for removing a coups window crome pieces?

pull the door panel and check to make sure there is power to the motor with a test light, if there is take a hammer and whack the window motor with a hammer a few times. if the car sat most likely there is a flat spot in the motor.

oh and be careful not to smash the window while doing it...

another option is to unplug the motor and run 12v straight into it, and whack it with a hammer, if that doesn't work your going to need a motor
