Glass Installers, I need some Advice

I am trying to glue my new glass to my hardtop.

Do I need to prime the fiberglass surface?

I'm looking to use prl primerless to glass 303hl. But I read that you might need to prime the fiberglass surface with the windshield primer... Anyone even done this before? or have some experience?

your always better off using the primer, after giving the surface some tooth with a little red scotch brite.
