Hood/Trunk Seals

Hey

Does anyone know a company that sells those thicker rubber seals for the hood and trunk?

I am talk about the one that fills in between the fender and hood.

They also sell pre-bent brake hard-lines. They seem to have lots of hard to find parts...

go to Lowes or Home Depot, you can buy the "Evo" seals that DcColgrove was selling for around $15 for the roll. be sure you buy the stuff made out of EPDM rubber as the other will not stand up to the heat and oil around your engine. the adheasive will stick for about a year or so, then it will go back and they will come loose. at that time you can either buy more or you can restick them with double sided tape.

Went to home depot and nothing! I didnt think this was going to be a mission

my home depot had them, but only in brown.

went to lowes and they had them in black.

one thing you have to remember is that the seals are like a b and a playing on their backs if that makes sense. you split them down the middle and make 2 seals out of one legnth of seal.

does that make any sense to you????
