Is it possible to replace mirror motor?

I'm de-trimming my car for body and paint work and since my driver's side mirror has a large rust bubble ready to pop through on the base, I was going to swap it with another rust-free one I have. The problem is, the motor in the replacement one will only click and not move the mirror. Just curious if it's possible to swap the motors since my rusted one works fine?

pop the mirror out with a panel popper (something plastic, please dont use a screwdriver) and look for the screws that hold the motor in place. There is also a rubber cover on the bottom to access the wires.

Use a small screwdriver and move the clip from the hole on the bottom of the mirror and it will release and drop out. Take out the tweeter or blank and unplug the mirror cable. Unscrew the motor, remove and replace.
Do you have a Bentley or OE repair manual?

Got it done. Easy peasy--thanks. Looked for it in my Bentley, but somehow missed it the first time.
