Chrome window trim on a touring?

Anyone tried it before? Can i mix and match trim parts from a 4-door/coupe?
I like chrome window trim on a black car, but tourings only came in shadowline.

No smartass-ness intended. It's an odd looking car though. Could be done better. They used a VW Golf hatch on it. They definitely weren't a BMW manufacturer.
