How did you make it? It looks like it came like that. I think you should do it.
Its a 3 and a 8 from a 318i. I had the iS badge laying around, and the 2 is from a 325i badge. Just cutting and carefully shapping the connector bridges to mate up to the new number cleanly.

Thought about that, but I really don't like how the later italic font looks on the e30.

Taped it up and put it on. Like how it looks, but still kinda 50/50 on it. I liked the old clean look, but the badge has its own "in crowd" cool factor. Plus maybe I can get out of a speeding ticket if a cop rights my car down as a non-existant model :)
"Seriously your honor, the officer in question seems to be unable to distinguish between a 5 and a 8. He claims I was doing 87 in a 60, how can you know for sure I wasn't doing 57 as I claimed?" :pimp:

I was actually considering this for my soon-to-be M52, but I really like the clean look of no badge. It would be sweet to show that you have a 2.8L under the hood, but a badge doesn't look clean enough.
I'd say leave it off, ricers don't need to know that your car is fast before the race even starts.

I'd say maybe 1 in 50 people I talk to (mostly BMW people at that) don't have the slightest clue that the last 2 numbers of a BMW badge are the relative displacement of the motor.
Somehow I doubt the ricer crowd would know.

This is so true. It doesn't help that the new 325, 330, 525, 530 all have the same engine size.
"But I thought the '25' meant it had a 2.5L engine? And you're saying that its 3.0L? So what size engine does the 330i have? 3.0L?! So they're the same car...for a lot cheaper!!! No way!!!1"
