Installing BMP e30 m3 antenna

if anyone has better directions then the ones that come with the antenna i would greatly appreciate it....i just got it for xmas and i want to install it myself.....opions on how i should install it myself or a body shop.....and what i should do with the stock antenna....also tips and good how to would be greatly appreciated.....thank you in advance!!

I don't have any directions, but you should center a
point on your roof for the drill hole, then pull the wires
through into a spot that you'd be able to route then along
with your Rear View/Map Light wires, pull them along
and splice them out into your Antenna wiring in your
CD/AM-FM. I think it's pretty straight foreward....

I would MAKE SURE to center the hole though, otherwise
your going to look like an oaf. Use your rearview mirror
as a guide, it should help.

How is it mounted at the bottom? IS it a rectangular hole, or is it a round one? Is it made to mount ontop of the sheet metal, or kin of in it (like one part on inside and outside). I am not familiar with the antenna, but some info would help and I could most likely help you through it.
