    Rear bumper shock removal

I understand that in order to remove the bumper shocks, there are 4 13mm nuts that you access from the inside. 1 from inside the trunk on the passenger side and the other 3 from under the car. I tried to remove the nut closes to the driver side but the exhaust tips were in the way. Is there a way to get to that nut w/out lowering or removing the exhaust? I was able to get a gearwrench in there but there wasn't enough room to get any leverage. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks

You need to drop the 2 exhaust straps to allow room for your arm and a ratchet. And if there might be rust on the bolts some heat from a torch would do you some good. :-) use a deep socket 13mm
I have done this a good few times and every time I used a torch it worked because up here things get rusty and the bolts seize. You might also try a slightly smaller socket if the are really crusty as the size of the head on the bolt shrinks. But seeing you are in Norcal, I highly doubt your into this sort of situation.
