    Windshield scratches

My car looks to have been subjected some old wiper blades and the dead arms were rubbing on the glass for some time... From the outside you can see a small white streak that dosent come off with any kind of soap or compound i have tried.

Anyone have any luck reducing the appreance of glass scratches?

Can you feel scratches in the window with your fingernail? What have you tried cleaning it with? If you haven't already, and can't feel and scratches, you mght try some acetone or laquer thinner. Maybe that will take off what ever it is.

You might even try some rain-x. I have had good luck with this. If they are minor scratches, rain-x will sometimes fill them in.

For scratching that isn't really too deep you can get car detailing products that are for windows. The good ones usually fill in the scratches pretty good. As long as you don't have a huge crack down the middle of the glass, it'll do tons for you.
