Solution to get rid of steel bumper from 88 325is

I just bought 88 325is. I want to change it to plastic bumper. Do I need to change full bumper or just middle steel piece?

The entire bumper assembly has to go, front and rear. But you're very fortunate with an '88, it's a direct swap from the large metal bumpers to plastics.

You're going to need plastic bumpers, plastic bumper mounts, & sliders.

And fyi, those are aluminum, not steel. ;)
