    Alpina rear spoiler

now that i've finally gotten my hands on some alpina rep wheels, i want to add a couple other goodies to pay homage to the b6 3.5 (late model).

the front spoiler has replicas available, as well as the graphics, but the rear spoiler eludes me.
it clearly is a two-piece with the body colored insert on the top like an mtech I. However, it is wide like the e28 version, but smooth like the e30 version. was it an alpina piece, or did they just smooth out an e28 version?

here are some pictures of a late model b6 3.5: http://www.alpina-archive.com/?p=249...ina-B6-3.5-207

    here is my car now:

and a photoshop with the alpina front

i have the e28 rear spoiler, just need to figure out if the rubber can be modified to make it look more like the alpina one

The rubber piece on the alpina is slightly larger than the mtech I and has a more aggressive angle to it. I've never seen any replicas. They come up for sale once in a blue moon and will cost a pretty penny.

Here's a comparison between the alpina type 157 and mtech I,

Nope I have one as well. Been tucked away in basement for last 7 years. Have the front to go with it as well.

I was going to build a tribute car like Sharky's but his got done first. He asked if I wanted to sell it to complete his. From my understanding they don't sell on ebay.de or belgium all that fast compared to say a Tech I. I got mine from some where in Belgium.

OP I like where you are going wait it out for a 157 rear. 4 door should look very sharp.

looks like if i want the real thing I'll have to pay $$$$ and wait for some time. sad.

thanks. going to use the e28 one for now and keep my eye out for the type 157, although I doubt I'll pay what people will ask.

just did a little research using the type 157 information, and it appears you can still order them from Alpina (go figure), although they dont list a price.

looks like you can also get the rear mudflaps, floor mats, and steering wheels....drool....

I guess the ones on ebay are not real?

I have a 157 Alpina wing on my car. I paid $803.00 from KSK Alpina about 5 months back.
