Eh, I am curious to see how long it actually works for and if it even acts as a "rejuvenator".

Don't waste your time with peanut butter. Go straight to peanut oil. Works great for most plastics, DB bumpers may need a couple applications. Let it soak in for at least 24h prior to washing. I recommend doing things like: pop out rear coupe window latch, seat buckles, vents below windshield, oh shit handles, and the infamous faded window breaker switch. It will appear to restore chrome trim but that won't last, looks good for pics though. Smell fades overnight. I have before and after pics for a proper writeup but I'm out of town.

Peanut butter is for cookies. Delicious, delicious cookies.

Any kind of oil or protectant is going to just wear off over time, and be just as grey as it was. Go with a proper solution, remove any trim you want restored to black, clean it well with soap and water, wipe it down with acetone, and then paint it with DupliColor trim paint, PlastiDip, or even Duplicolor bedlinder (super fine texture).

Peanut oil has already lasted several months for me and I won't be surprised to see it last years on the interior parts. For $8 in oil and paper towels to apply in only minutes without removing the trim, it's easy to see how this is worthwhile.

Shoe polish. Rub on, wipe off, stays black. I used it on my ashtrays etc 4 years ago and the have not faded. That back to black stuff is way overpriced when some kiwi does the same damn thing.

Mother of God! Peanut oil is amazing. I just tested it on the trim next to the wipers, wow! It didn't do anything for the window breaker switch, but still really useful.

Just skip the crap and buy some fade to black/black to black.

I like peanut butter too much to use it to rejuvenate my side trim.
