my bad. I thought monoblock were just one peice. Do you know if the 4s3's are 2 piece calipers?

DrMcDave: Sorry bud, I would highly recommend you dont even consider them. You can source a kit through Mov'It who has become famous putting the 993tt brakes on practically every car. After plenty of legal work, Mov'It has developed their own kits that are relatively the same as the Porsche setup, but Mov'It *supposedly* no longer uses any Porsche parts. If you're still desperate for info, Mov'It is run by Guido Frensemeyer. Their customer service is GOD AWFUL. I had my mind set to run porsche brakes, but I finally decided that Mov'It is much too difficult to deal with. Feel free to go to www.movit.de for info. A front and rear kit for the e30, delivered to your door, will run you about $5000. You may be able to strike a deal for one of the old 4s3 kits for a lot less. I guess they've had a "display use only" 4s3 kit for the e30 sitting around for a few years that they want to get rid of. I got quoted $1900 delivered for that kit (just the front). The 4s3 Big reds are no longer available, Mov'it's own kit has taken its place. Goodluck, They will respond to your first inquiry through their site, getting responses after that is next to impossible. If you have other questions, please ask.

the Big Reds are two piece. It wouldn't be very hard to make your own kit, all you would need would be whatever calipers, have custom brackets made, and figure out rotors. Big Reds are actually relatively inexpensive when purchased seperately, like $350 from some sources if i recall correctly. If you did your homework, you could get a setup for about the same price as the IE kits, except with much better calipers

I plan on cutting my inner lips and leaving the rear with the flat ede, just like the front.

Ok.....I'm putting this idea out on the table for the guys that seriously want to roll their fenders. Let's put are money together, buy one fender rolling tool.......take turns using it......after everyone is threw with it, put it on Ebay and try to get whatever money we put up, back. Of course, I have first dibs on using the tool since it was my idea... :) But, seriously, what do you guys think? Is there too much trust involved here?

a fender roller will not produce the pulled fenders pictured above, only roll the inner fender lips. The smoothed/pulled fenders require cutting and welding.

i am familiar with movit brakes, i've seen the website and such although i was not aware that they are/where porsche brakes. 1900 is a lot. there are wilwood kits available for our cars for 1400 although i am not sure if they are in the same class as the movit brakes. The info is much appreciated.
