My first project with this car, so I thought I'd start small. Here's what the key looked like before. With the keyring broken off I was afraid I'd loose the dang thing.

Here's the "after" picture. I found a small ring that fit the radius of the missing bits, roughed the renaming plastic edges with a razor saw and tacked the ring in place with some super glue. Next I made a little mold out of aluminum duct tape and potted the whole thing with JB Weld (actually JB Quick because I'm impatient). Before it was fully cured I pulled the tape off and trimmed the "flashing" with an X-Acto knife. Then I ground it down to a nice shape. It's not pretty but At least I won't lose it before I can find a permanent solution.
