if your just gonna have solid brackets holding on the bumper then why have the bumper? its now just a big piece of metal sticking out from the car.

You mean like how millions of cars that are on the road today came from the factory?





I'd probably use a giant nut and bolt so I could have infinite adjustability. Just weld a tube and nut to the end of the bolt to mount the bumper.
