i see your spray painting your car, is this a good option for someone on a budget? because i dont have 500 dollars to get it painted right now. ive spray painted my truck before but didnt prep at all turned out like crap. also my cars primer is way to thick i have to sand and mold the fenders and then reprimer.
Ha! It is much more than $500 for a paint job. Try multiplying that time 5 or 6. Spray paint is a nice option for a crappy paint job. Look up the roller paint job if you want something slightly less crappy.
i need help from u guys. my windows have what looks like hard water stains. The tint shop says its absolutely not their fault and that the window on the outside has water stuck on it. Ive used lime-away, Windex, razor blade. over and over! nothing is coming off and to me it looks like it is between the tint and inside window. Ive rolled the windows down hoping maybe it would act as a sqee-gee and nothing happened. the shops manager i not there today so i had no luck with the employees there. Depending on the comments i get here. im going back when the boss is there and if he says its on the outside then im pulling the tint half way off the little back door window. if it is on the outside what will remove it? best picture i could get so you could see the bubbles/ water spots/ some real BS!. please let me know what u think.
is it on the outside?
is it removable if on outside?
is it more then likely the tint shops fault?
Thank you guys
Give that about a week in the sun. I think, IIRC, that what you are seeing is the application solution that needs to evaporate out from between the film and the window. If it does't go away, then take it back.
The fact you have no bumpers, side moldings, shitty paint, missing fogs, dents all around, no lip and painted wipers.
*owned* Haha! good points! P.O painted EVERYTHING! when he primerd the car Besides, you know, the, DOOR JAMBS,T + H openings. have bumpers on the car now, lip on the car now, fog delete plates and the air scoops going on tomorrow. And new breaks installed tomorrow. they didn't build Rome in one day! Im fixing up my car little to little to what i like. sorry its not everyones favorite design or quality
Black is the absolute most horrible looking color you can make a wheel. You should take a look at some of the threads on here of people that did their own paint jobs for reasonable amounts, there is some nice work to be seen if you are willing to put the elbow grease in. I would worry about making the car run and drive nice, then focus on the aesthetics.
